About

Arsenal and England

Exactly what the name suggests, I focus in particular on the two teams with a place in my heart with latest news from both the Emirates and Wembley as both teams look to taste success once more this season, along with my own personal take on all the talking points the season brings.

With England retaining a 100% winning record under Capello in the qualifying campaign for the 2010 World Cup, we’re almost guaranteed a place on the plane to South Africa next summer. The question is, are we looking good enough to challenge the ever-present footballing superpowers like Brazil, Germany and Italy when it really matters?

While everything is rosy for England, down at London Colney things aren’t quite how they could be. Four years without a trophy, Arsene Wenger is coming under increasing pressure and with half the squad leaving for Manchester and only one addition thus far, how do we expect to challenge this season?

The site is also perfect for those who want to know more than just how the first teams are doing, the site also pays particular attention to the stars of tommorrow too, whether it’s the England U16s in the Victory Shield or Arsenal in the FA Youth Cup.

Not only that, I am a follower of football even when neither Arsenal nor England are involved, so from controversy in El Classico to news of yet another Brazilian wonderkid I will give my views when and where I can.

An Arsenal fan with an Arsenal supporting dad with a Spurs supporting grandfather! My passion for writing has led me to start two Arsenal blogs previously, both of which petered out after school commitments led to having very little time to keep up to date. So it’s third time lucky…. I think! About to become a journalism student at university and I am hoping that this website will provide me with the perfect way of practising whilst still having fun. So the more feedback the better.
